It was always thought that could be a sentimental switch at ♣ the end of his career but

point. CR7 has expressed a desire to challenge for Champions League glory, but there

This looked a perfect
fit for Ronaldo, who would seem an ideal replacement for Barcelona-bound ♣ Robert
Lewandowski. Bayern have won 10 straight Bundesliga titles and claimed two Champions
League triumphs during that time. However, sporting ♣ director Hasan Salihamidzic has
insisted a move for Ronaldo is not on the cards, with Sadio Mane already signed to
♣ boost their attacking options.

The Blues initially expressed an interest
in acquiring Ronaldo and setting up camp in a ♣ city like London would almost certainly
suit his family. Chelsea’s new owners have since backtracked and ruled themselves out

Having tied Kylian Mbappe down to a long-term
contract, the French club’s mega-rich backers must decide ♣ whether to stick with Lionel

emotional homecoming to a club where he won four Champions League trophies. ♣ Real
conquered Europe again last term and were runaway winners of La Liga, but Barcelona’s
spending spree means they can’t ♣ afford to rest on their laurels.

Ronaldo
spent three seasons playing under Jose Mourinho at Real and they won ♣ La Liga once
together, but their relationship was not always great. Mourinho once said of CR7 that
he “maybe thinks ♣ that he knows everything and that the coach cannot improve him
anymore”. We can’t see them rekindling that partnership in ♣ the Italian
capital.
