To mark the New Year, the One Dance📉 singer decided to place an NBA
wager on the in-form Pacers for their road game against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Drake
shared📉 a screengrab of theR$60,000 bet on Instagram along with the caption "Betting on
a home hangover".
The 37-year-old stood would win📉 a staggeringR$225,000 if the bet came
in - and Tyrese Haliburton and the Pacers were on hand to get Drake's📉 betting year off
to a winning start.
Haliburton scored 26 points and Bennedict Mathurin dropped another
25 to lead the Indiana📉 to a surprise 122-113 win against the host Bucks.
Milwaukee saw
a 15-game home winning streak come to an end with📉 the loss.
Haliburton and Mathurin
each had a double-double, with Haliburton dishing out 11 assists and Mathurin grabbing
13 boards. Isaiah📉 Jackson added 18 points and nine rebounds.
Two-time NBA MVP Giannis
Antetokounmpo led Milwaukee in vain with 30 points, 18 rebounds📉 and 11 assists for his
third triple-double of the season.
Drake placed the successful bet with Australian
online sportsbook, Stake.

According to a report in the Financial📉 Times, Drake
signed aR$100m endorsement deal with the firm in 2024.
The Canadian rapper is
understood to have wageredR$1 billion on📉 the site in a variety of sports and casino
bets.
Earlier this year Drake lost close toR$1m on the outcome of📉 Logan Paul's
exhibition boxing match with MMA fighter Dillon Danis.
Drake backed Paul to win the
fight but Danis' disqualification for📉 putting the YouTuber-cum-WWE wrestler in a
headlock saw him lose the bet on a technicality.
His most recent high-profile betting
failure📉 saw him lose £250,000 on UFC 296.
He predicted welterweight champion would
defeat Colby Covington by knockout.
The returns would've seen him📉 pocketR$1.2million,
but Edwards was unable to find a finish against Covington, settling for a points
victory by unanimous decision.
