Friday’s Bet of the Day: Tottenham vs Burnley
The Clarets return to the big time has been less than impressive, to say the least, and it appears set to get a lot worse as they look to be getting dumped out of the cup at the first time of asking.
Spurs have been a touch hot and cold this year, yet will no doubt turn up for this, having only failed to progress to the fourth round once in the last 14 years.
Having already defeated Burnley this season also will serve to buoy the Lilywhites camp, alongside having won four of their last five, three of these coming at home.
And even whilst the Clarets seem to earn more points in the league on the road, they have still lost six of their away matches, as Spurs will look to make it a seventh.
The over should be well in hand also, with Spurs leading the league in games with 2.5+ goals, with just one of their last 11 games seeing less than three goals. The onus for goals will be squarely on Spurs shoulders, so this bodes well.
