The Globe Soccer Awards are awards which acknowledge achievements 9️⃣ in football.[2] It is organized by Globe Soccer and involves participation from international football organizations such as FIFA, UEFA, ECA, 9️⃣ and major clubs in an annual event held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.[3][4]
The annual ceremony of the event is attended 9️⃣ by international football players, coaches, and celebrities.[5]

Founded in 2010 by Tommaso Bendoni, the first edition of the 9️⃣ Globe Soccer Awards started with three categories, expanding to six in 2011 and to ten by 2012.[6] Over the years, 9️⃣ the number of awards and categories has increased, mirroring the growth and diversification of global football.[6] The focus on women's 9️⃣ football at the Globe Soccer Awards has also increased with specific categories introduced for achievements in women's football.[6]
Selection process [ 9️⃣ edit ]
The awards are given to individuals and entities within the football industry for their achievements.[7] The selection process for 9️⃣ award recipients involves two stages of voting, where football fans worldwide participate.[8] In the first stage, the public selects the 9️⃣ finalists from a set of nominees.[7][8] In the second stage, the final decision is made by both public votes and 9️⃣ a jury comprising football professionals such as journalists, agents, coaches, and ex-players.[7][9][8]

At the 2012 Globe Soccer Awards 9️⃣ ceremony, the organisation decided to award a special award to recognise the best Player of the 20th Century.[29][30]
21st Century Awards 9️⃣ [ edit ]
Similarly, at the Globe Soccer 2024 Awards ceremony, the organisation decided to simultaneously award a series of special 9️⃣ awards known as the 21st Century Awards, which seek to recognise the most important figures in football in the period 9️⃣ 2001–2024. The award ceremony was attended by different personalities linked to the world of football, in which highlights the president 9️⃣ of FIFA Gianni Infantino who had delivered a speech at the conference.[31][32]
