A variation of traditional poker, Ultimate Poker offers a new way to play. The
participants, up to 7 of them 9️⃣ at the Table, will not be playing against each other but
instead trying to beat the Bank, in the person 9️⃣ of the Croupier. Before the cards are
dealt, you must place your chips on the squares marked ‘Bet (Ante)’ for 9️⃣ an initial bet
and ‘Blind’ for a blind bet of the same amount. From then on, these wagers can no
9️⃣ longer be removed or changed. So make sure you think them through carefully from the
beginning. It is also possible 9️⃣ to make an optional bet on the ‘Bonus’ square.
- The
Croupier then deals 2 cards to each player, ending with 9️⃣ him- or herself, and places 5
community cards on the table, all face down. However, if the Croupier uses an 9️⃣ automatic
card dealing machine, the dealing order changes: first the 5 community cards, then the
2 cards for each player 9️⃣ and finally the Bank’s 2 cards.
- The players can then ‘check’
(do nothing) or bet an amount equal to 3 9️⃣ or 4 times their initial ‘Ante’ bet.
- The
Croupier then turns over 3 community cards, and this time, if you 9️⃣ did not wager in the
previous round, you can only bet double the amount of your Ante.
- The Croupier then
9️⃣ turns over the final 2 cards. If you have still not made a bet on the Play square, your
wager 9️⃣ cannot exceed the value of your Ante. If you decide to fold, you lose your
stakes.
- Finally, the Croupier turns 9️⃣ over his or her cards and the players still in
contention compare their hands to the Bank’s. The best hand 9️⃣ wins the game. .
