Before the financial takeover comes into play, test your skills one last time
Newcastle
United have been going through a tough 2️⃣ spell, with little money being spent, attacking
football a rarity, and life in the Premier League never feeling quite secure.
The
2️⃣ takeover has brought expectations and we have seen new arrivals in January, but there
is still plenty of work to 2️⃣ be done.
This is a massive task, so if you want to do a
total rebuild job with restrictions on FIFA 2️⃣ 22 Career Mode, look no further than
Newcastle United.
Team Rating
Newcastle United have a four-star rating on FIFA 22.
That
is due 2️⃣ to their team rating of: 77 ATK, 77 MID, and 76 DEF.
Starting Lineup and
Formation
Newcastle line up as a 4-5-1, 2️⃣ and we will be keeping it like this as the
defence needs as much cover as it can get.

This defence isn't up to Premier League standards
In the default squad, Chris Wood is
2️⃣ up top due to injury to Callum Wilson, but we would opt for the pace of Wilson over the
new 2️⃣ £25 million signing.
The pace of Ryan Fraser and Allan Saint-Maximin out wide
should cause plenty of problems for the opposition.
New 2️⃣ signing Bruno Guimaraes, Isaac
Hayden, and Joe Willock make up our preferred midfield, although Miguel Almiron, Jonjo
Shelvey, and the 2️⃣ powerful Joelinton are decent back-ups.
Kieran Trippier slots in at
right-back as the best player in the squad, while another new 2️⃣ arrival Matt Targett
should be at left-back.
We would opt for Jamaal Lascelles and Fabian Schar at the back,
although the 2️⃣ giant Dan Burn will be a threat from set-pieces.
Martin Dubravka will
remain the number one GK for the time being.
Tactics 2️⃣ and Instructions
Until we've
brought in more steller players, the tactics will stay the same, being hard to break
down, bringing 2️⃣ the opposition onto you, then springing fast on the counter.
This means
the defensive style is to Drop Back and is 2️⃣ quite deep, leaving more space behind the
opponent.
Offensively it's Fast Build Up with Forward Runs, making the attacks quick
and 2️⃣ direct.
Saint-Maximin will stick with Get In Behind as he has the pace to arc his
runs in towards goal.
When attacking, 2️⃣ we want both wing-backs on Join The Attack and
Overlap, giving some width to the team.
Only Hayden will be told 2️⃣ to Stay Back While
Attacking, meaning with him and the back two you shouldn't be out-manned if you are
countered 2️⃣ on.
Development Plans
There is cause for optimism here, with eight players
having a potential of 80+ OVR.
Kieran Trippier and Martin Dubravka 2️⃣ won't be getting any
better though, and loan signings Matt Targett and Santiago Munoz are only on loan at
the 2️⃣ club.
This leaves Saint-Maximin (POT 86), Guimaraes (POT 85), Willock (POT 83), and
Jamal Lewis (POT 80) as your first-team stars 2️⃣ for the future.
Transfer Market
Starting
transfer budget: £26 million
Starting wage budget: £195,000 a week
Who should go
With
only a handful of players 2️⃣ making 80+ OVR, you will be looking to get rid of most of the
squad in the long term.
Other players 2️⃣ you will be wanting to hold onto for another
season or two are Hayden, Sean Longstaff, Wilson, Almiron, Joelinton and 2️⃣ Lascelles, who
can play a part in the rebuilding job.
From there, go for a big clear out, just make
sure 2️⃣ you're finding replacements!
Loans
Once you've done your big clear-out of players,
you probably won't want to be sending any out on 2️⃣ loan in case you're left short.
There
are a few players out on loan, but the only two worth keeping hold 2️⃣ of on their return
is Matthew Longstaff, who could become an 81 OVR, and Elliot Anderson (POT 80).
Who to
Sign
The 2️⃣ whole team needs rejuvenating, but by far the most pressing area is at
centre-back.
Look to bring in a couple of 2️⃣ young, promising players, who will probably
be rated better than your current starters.

at it you may as well look to fix the whole backline, and see 2️⃣ about picking up a new

Board Expectations
There are two high
priority expectations from the board, 2️⃣ Brand Exposure and Financial.
Brand Exposure
shouldn't be too difficult to complete, having to get a streak of 3 clean sheets 2️⃣ in
away matches, and also signing 2 young players.
Financial asks that you reduce player
wages by £64,000 a week, and 2️⃣ once you've got rid of some of the dead weight in the team
that should free it up.
Of medium priority 2️⃣ is Youth Development, where you will need to
sign 4 players in your Youth Academy; a goalkeeper, defender, midfielder and
2️⃣ forward.

from the board to 2️⃣ meet
Domestic Success is a low priority asking you to finish
mid-table in the Premier League and reach the round of 2️⃣ 16 of the FA Cup.
You aren't in
European competitions, so Continental Success is a low priority, as there is nothing 2️⃣ to
be fought for!
