Morning All,
Having a quick scan around the leagues for some recommendations this
weekend and a good opportunity presents itself tomorrow 💶 evening in Brazil. I know a lot
of you will want your full day of betting tomorrow before you even 💶 consider games
tomorrow evening so guessing not many will have looked this far ahead yet.
I'm here to
make money and 💶 am not holding out for the "magical" 5 fold winner to come in...I'm here
to try and make money so 💶 am very selective with my selections and like to have full
reasons before I hand my money over to the 💶 bookies...
So with that in mind, I'm keen to
hear thoughts of others who have similar ideas or have thoughts on 💶 this game...As
always, full staking plan on site at bettingriver.co.uk
06th October 2012 – Atletico-GO
vs Vasco da Gama (Serie A 💶 – Brazil)
Atletico-GO are having a terrible season and find
themselves at the foot of the table after 27 games. As 💶 you would expect, they have
scored the least goals in the league with 27 whilst also having the worst defensive
💶 record, conceding 48. That doesn’t make for good reason if your a GO supporter.
As you
might expect from a team 💶 at the bottom of the league, their recent run of form is also
the worst in the league. They only 💶 managing 1 win and 1 draw in their last 6 games,
however, their single win did come away from home 💶 against league leaders Fluminense,
where they managed to take a 2-0 lead before the break and held on to win 💶 the game 2-1.
This was indeed a shock result so they are capable of pulling something out of the bag
💶 from time to time.
Their home form, like their current form, is also the worst in the
league managing to only 💶 pick up 3 wins and 3 draws from 13 games. Your home ground is
supposed to be a safe fortress 💶 where other teams struggle to score but not where GO are
concerned. They have conceded a very worrying 23 goals 💶 in 13 games at home and have
only managed to net themselves on 16 occasions.
Vasco da Gama are at the 💶 other end of
the table in 4th spot and are 6 points behind 2nd placed Atletico MG. Vasco’s games are
💶 rarely boring as they have managed to score 35 and concede 27 goals in 27 games, so you
can normally 💶 expect their to be goals when Vasco take to the pitch (they have only had
3 0-0 results so far 💶 this season).
Vasco’s current form whilst OK, could be better as
they have only picked up 3 wins, 3 draws and 💶 2 losses in their last 8 games. They are
unbeaten in their last 4 games but their last loss was 💶 a comprehensive one which saw
they conceded 4 goals without reply to Bahia.
Away from home they have only lost 3 💶 out
of 13 games, which is a big positive for them. However, with only 4 wins and 6 draws,
they 💶 will need to improve on this if they are to keep pushing the top 3 teams. On their
travels they 💶 tend to set up very defensively and this is highlighted by their scoring
record. They have only managed to net 💶 10 times away from home but, on the flip side,
they have the best defence away from home, conceding just 💶 the 8 goals.
Only once this
season has their been more than 2 goals scored when they play away and that 💶 came early
in the season when they beat Bahia 2-1.
Review
Atletico are really struggling this
season and are leaking goals all 💶 over the place. Vasco, on the other hand, are push the
top 3 and will be looking to improve on 💶 their away record. They do setup defensively
when they travel so am expecting a low scoring game but one which 💶 Vasco will take 3
points from.
