Ronaldo wants to stay at Al Nassr until 2027
Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly wants to
extend his stay at Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr until 2027.
Ronaldo is 38 but has
shown no signs of slowing down, scoring 25 goals in 30 games in Saudi Arabia while
continuing to represent Portugal at international level.
"According to football
journalist Ali Al-Harbi, the striker has told club management that he wishes to extend
his stay in Saudi Arabia until 2027," an article in the Mail reads
"A post on X
released by Al-Harbi read: 'Cristiano Ronaldo informed the management of the Saudi club
before traveling to the Portuguese national team camp that he wants to renew his
contract until the beginning of 2027. Cristiano wants to play the 2026 World Cup while
he is a player for Al-Nassr Club, and then he will announce his retirement from
football."
United face £103m fee for Neves
Manchester United are monitoring Benfica's
young midfielder Joao Neves - but the Red Devils would have to pay a release clause of
£103 million for his services.
"Joao Neves is on Manchester United's radar," the report
states.
"SunSport understands Red Devils boss Erik Ten Hag has his scouts watch young
midfield ace Neves.
"Ten Hag has already ramped up his scouting operations in Portugal
with Sporting Lisbon defender Goncalo Inacio being closely monitored ahead of a
potential swoop in January.
"The scout attended Benfica's match against Estoril last
week, where Neves started his eighth game in a row. He recently signed a new deal with
Benfica which runs through to 2028 and has a release clause of £103 million."
Neves has
been one of Benfica's standout players so far this season and his form has been noticed
by Roberto Martinez, who has called him up to the Portugal squad for the UEFA Euro 2024
qualifiers against Slovakia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Sancho to be sold if he doesn't
apologise
Manchester United will reportedly sell Jadon Sancho in January if the
23-year-old doesn't apologise to manager Erik ten Hag.
Sancho has been training away
from the first-team squad since last month after claiming publicly to have been a "
scapegoat for a long time " after Ten Hag questioned his commitment in
training.
"Manchester United will look to offload Jadon Sancho in January if the
England forward continues to refuse to apologise to Erik Ten Hag," a report in the Mail
states
"United are so eager to offload Sancho in January that they are willing to
subsidise his £300,000-a-week wages if they are able to agree a loan move for the rest
of the season.
"Juventus and former club Borussia Dortmund have both been linked with
Sancho, but neither will be prepared to match United's £60 million valuation for a
player who by that stage is unlikely to have played for over four months."
Chelsea
agree to sell Lukaku to Roma for £37m
Chelsea will sell Romelu Lukaku to Roma for £37m
at the end of the season, it has been claimed.
Lukaku has been a revelation for Jose
Mourinho's side so far, scoring seven goals in just eight games.
The story reads: "The
30-year-old was not involved at all in Chelsea's pre-season and is unlikely to ever
play for the Blues again. But upon the expiry of his Roma loan at the end of the
campaign he will still have two years remaining on his Blues contract.
"According to
transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea have agreed to 'make Lukaku available' for a
£37m fixed fee next summer."
Chelsea spent £97.5m to re-sign Lukaku from Inter Milan in
2024 but he was soon back at Nerazzurri on loan after scoring just eight Premier League
goals, before Roma swooped in the summer just gone.
