Full-time student means a person attending or undertaking a full-time course
of study and includes a student on👄 a sandwich course;
Full year refers to the ordinary
period of employment for the position.
Full-time job means a job performed by👄 an
individual for 35 hours or more each week and whose income and social security taxes
are withheld by 1👄 or more of the following:
Full-time means 40 hours or more worked per
week, or a lesser number of hours if:
Full👄 Time Equivalent or "FTE" means the
full-time
Full-time employee means a person engaged to work for the full ordinary hours
prescribed.
Non-Participating👄 Optometrist means an Optometrist who does not have a
written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or👄 Blue Shield
Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.
Participating
Optometrist means an Optometrist who has👄 a written agreement with the Claim
Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you
👄 at the time services are rendered.
Full-time position means a position of gainful
employment where the number of hours worked by👄 the employee is not less than 30 hours
during any given work week.
New full-time job means an eligible position created👄 by
the
Regular Full-Time Employee means an employee who is employed on a full- time basis
for 35, 37½, 40 or👄 such other number of weekly hours as is recognized in this Agreement
as normal for a particular class of positions,👄 for an indefinite period of time.
Adult
cabaret means a nightclub, bar, restaurant, or similar commercial establishment which
regularly features:
Non-Participating Orthotic👄 Provider means an Orthotic Provider who
does not have a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross
👄 and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are
rendered.
Participating Orthotic Provider means an Orthotic👄 Provider who has a written
agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to
provide👄 services to you at the time services are rendered.
Classroom teacher means a
teacher subject to annual performance evaluation review under👄 the provisions of
Education Law Section 3012-c.
Classroom hour means 50 minutes of instruction out
of
full-time course of study means a👄 full-time course of study which—
Non-Participating
Prosthetic Provider means a Prosthetic Provider who does not have a written agreement
with the👄 Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide
services to you at the time services are👄 rendered.
Permanent full-time employee means a
person who is appointed to work the full ordinary hours of work each week (as👄 defined)
and who is appointed as such in accordance with section 37(3)(a) of the State Service
Act 2000.
Full pay or👄 "half pay" means the staff member's ordinary rate of pay or half
the ordinary rate of pay respectively.
Qualified wages means👄 the wages paid or incurred
by the employer during the taxable year to an individual who is a vocational reha-
👄 bilitation referral and more than one-half of the wages paid or incurred for such an
indi- vidual is for services👄 performed in a trade or business of the employer.
Consult
collegially means that the district governing board shall develop policies on👄 academic
and professional matters through either or both of the following methods, according to
its own discretion:
Participating Prosthetic Provider means👄 a Prosthetic Provider who
has a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue
Shield Plan👄 to provide services to you at the time services are
rendered.
Non-Participating Home Infusion Therapy Provider means a Home Infusion
Therapy👄 Provider who does not have a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or
another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan👄 to provide services to you at the time
services are rendered.
Woman means a female human being whether or not she👄 has reached
the age of majority.
