Theft Association. This regional group ♣️ was founded in 1987 as Western States Energy
Theft Association (WSETA) with the intent to bring utility companies together from ♣️ the
Western United States. In 2001 the name was changed to Western States Utility Theft
Association. Our mission is to ♣️ identify measures to protect our companies from revenue
losses associated with unauthorized use of service.Each year, WSUTA hosts a conference
♣️ where revenue protection professionals may learn about and share perspectives on the
issues faced by our membership. Vendors aligned with ♣️ our mission proudly display the
latest technology and services and provide options for consideration in the pursuit of
reducing theft ♣️ of utility service.Attention Revenue Assurance Professionals!The Western
States Utility Theft Association Conference has been scheduled for September 25 - 28,

consists of officers who are elected by the WSUTA members ♣️ at the annual conference.
Membership in the organization requires only that an interested member be a utility
employee whose principle ♣️ activity involves recovery and/or the protection of revenues.
A Board of Advisors made up of former officers provides guidance and ♣️ assistance in
coordinating the annual conference.The utility industry has become very dynamic. The
issue of competition among utilities around the ♣️ world is a reality. Utilities that were
once closely regulated or controlled by the government are now becoming deregulated and
♣️ privately owned. The added value of protecting against the loss of diminishing profits
from unauthorized use of the utility's service ♣️ is becoming a higher priority. The
ability to accomplish this objective with the highest efficiency and cost effectiveness
is our ♣️ goal.The Western States Utility Theft Association is a not for profit,
professional association comprised of western US utility representatives with ♣️ a mission
of developing and supporting an ongoing effort to combat revenue loss through utility
diversion, thereby reducing the unfair ♣️ financial burden placed on other utility
