Ten of the Strip's 18 buffets have either closed permanently or are expected to. The resorts with shuttered buffets include Mirage, Paris, Treasure Island, Harrah's, and Planet Hollywood. Basic Patterns
The 1 on the corner touches 1 square so it must be a mine.
The 2 touches 2 squares so they must both be mines.
The 3 touches 3 squares so they must all be mines.
The 4 touches 4 squares so they must all be mines.
The 5 touches 5 squares so they must all be mines.
At the start of the game the grid is completely filled with hidden squares. When you click on a square which doesn't have a bomb, numbers in squares next to unrevealed squares will indicate how many bombs are adjacent to it. For example, if an empty square has a 2 in it, there are 2 bombs adjacent to it.
How to Win Mines. The way to win in Mines is to successfully pick spaces that do not contain a Mine symbol and cash out before you uncover a Mine. You can cash out at any time after a successful pick with more consecutive picks awarding a higher win value.
XYZZY is a famous Minesweeper cheat that shows you the mine locations. Type XYZZY and press [SHIFT][ENTER] and the top left pixel on your screen will become a mine detector.
