Hi there fellow Regs...So I've created this Blog in order to keep me motivated on this
road to try and beat NL10 Zoom on Pokerstars. Why Zoom? Because regular tables often
have very few players (~10) and i can't multitable.I also like playing Zoom, don´t mind
the challenge and am not trying to make this my way of living since i have a good job
and BR is not an issue.Backgound:I´ve started playing Poker around 2008, multitabling 8
regular tables, NL10. I played for a year and built my BR to ~1200€.Then.. i decided to
take a shot at NL25, things went south and sour pretty hard, i lost interest in the
game and cashed out.Fast forward to a couple months ago when i slowly revived my
interest in the game by playing on my Ipad and was like "Wtf is GTO? Wtf is all this
33% Cbetting BS? Let me raise this Mfker"...So I went serious last month, got
Pokertraker and GTO, skimmed through some books (Modern Small Stakes and The Grinders
Manual mostly) and been watching all sorts of videos whenever i can. I enjoy "play and
explain" a lot.I´ve seen Cash Injection by Peter Clarke (i think the guy´s a genious
but i´m probably still to much of a fish to absorb that kind of content because i was
expecting something else, some kind of golden heuristics, printing pool exploits, idk).
Also been spending some time here posting hands and getting all sorts of knowledge from
you guys.At the moment i would say my study / playing time is around 80% / 20%Enough
talk, this is me so far, ~47K hands:My thoughts, (besides running 10bi below EV...
sigh)- At first i was following Bluff the Spot Preflop Bible chart before knowing that
i had to tighten up for the micros high rake.. aaand... i was pretty much opening and
calling 3bets with all suited connectors and sometimes even with low PP- Aaand.. turns
out i'm terrible in 3/4bet pots (don´t fight hard enough), so you get my red line...-
Also, until very recently, i was Cbetting flop almost every time and didn´t have a
strong Flop checking range.- Now im following GTO charts for NL50 rake and being very
modest with my suited connector opening/ calling frequency. These are the biggest
mistakes that I´ve noticed so far by myself. I am thinking to get a coach but first i
feel i need to improve some more in order to maximize what i´ll learn from those
lessons. If you´ve got this far i thank you and please leave some input on my Stats.I´ve
seen some experienced players offering to review players databases, so if you want me
to post some other stats just let me know and i´ll do so!I´ll try to post my "winnings"
every week or every month, GGs and GL to all!
