Aria casino is so tied up with the City Center hotel/stores etc that sometimes it is
very difficult to find 📉 your way around, in part because people walking on the strip
often by accident cut through the casino. Worth a 📉 look.
Also, if you have not
previously visited LV or not visited in recent years, you will find significant changes
everywhere. 📉 For example, you must pay to park at a hotel casino in most cases, such as
all MGM properties, and 📉 it is not cheap.
For the most part, the era of inexpensive food
is long gone Even in the lower end 📉 casino/hotels a fountain soda is usually at
leastR$4. The people who operate the bus on the strip have made it 📉 more difficult to
you. One bus driver said it wasR$8 to get on, exact change. Another time the bus
"coordinator" 📉 at a stop said I must have a transit card bought from a machine, which of
course, is almost impossible 📉 to get to work or to figure out the options. I liked it
when you got on the bus and 📉 put you cash in the slot.
The cab companies complain that
Uber e tc. have taken over 25% of the taxi 📉 business, yet the taxi company will not let
you call them to pick you up or to schedule a pick 📉 up, such as for the airport, if your
hotel has a 24 hr cab stand (most do) but there is 📉 not always a cab available late at
night or early morning.
The casinos have increased the variety of table games, but 📉 the
cost to play is often aR$15 minimum, and to play the game correctly, the bet usually
should be 2 📉 or 3 times the minimum..
The price of shows continues to skyrocket, and
then try to get a reasonably price snack---$8 📉 popcorn at Mirage---where you also pay a
ticketmaster service fee of at leastR$12 even if you buy you ticket as 📉 a walk up to the
Mirage box office.
And finally, of course, is the "resort fee" you pay for your room,
📉 as much asR$40 a night at most hotels. So when you are comparing hotel room prices be
sure to include 📉 the resort fee.
